RAILROADED GUIDE for Upholstery

We refer to "railroaded" to the way the upholstery fabric pattern (54 inches) is woven at the fabric mill. If you detail the image below, the regular sofa on the left has the upholstery fabric pattern running up the roll of fabric, which is the normal way upholstery fabric is milled. The "railroaded" image on the right means the fabric design (stripes run) across the roll, from one side of the upholstery fabric to the other one.
We recommend our clients to read the description of each fabric where
we specify if our fabrics are railroaded.
